Nose-Holders: U.S Voters Disgusted by Both Candidates
The president election is just around the corner. Only until last week, the poll hadn’t been in Donald Trump’s favor, largely because of his lewd comments on woman 11 years ago.
美國大選將至，本來因為11年前對女性的不堪言論，川普民調大跌，敗象已露。但在上週五，情勢丕變，FBI局長Comey宣布發現另一批電郵，可能和希拉蕊之前電郵案有關，需要重啟調查。
華盛頓郵報與ABC新聞網10月27號到30號的最新民調顯示，在打算投票的選民中，川普還領先希拉蕊一個百分點。
這個美國選舉的「十月大驚奇」，不但跌破大家眼鏡，更是為本次選舉帶來更多變數。
捏著鼻子投票
Nearly 6 in 10 registered voters have an unfavorable impression of Clinton (59 percent), and an identical percentage see Trump negatively. Nearly half of registered voters, 47 percent, have a “strongly unfavorable” view of Clinton and Trump alike.
根據同一份民調顯示：接近六成已註冊選民，對希拉蕊觀感不佳。川普的比例呢？剛好一樣。兩黨候選人被選民痛恨的程度，不但史無前例，也是難分高下。
In a campaign in which a historic number of voters is disgusted at both candidates, the disclosure（按：指電郵案重啟調查） may just increase the number of what analysts in both parties have come to refer to as “nose holders”: People who will hold their nose and vote, if they vote at all.
一個口無遮攔、充滿對女性與少數族裔不堪言論；另一位高高在上、滿肚心機的形象深植人心。惡男醜女，一樣令人作嘔，選民如果要投票，也是捏著鼻子投吧。
